Therapy in Seattle
In person at two Seattle offices, in Madison Valley and on Capitol Hill, with telehealth anywhere in Washington.

Who I See
I work with adults from their twenties into their nineties, as individuals, couples and families. You may be dealing with a specific concern, a difficult relationship or a turning point that has left you unsure what comes next.
I begin by listening to what you want for your life and what gets in the way. We look at the past without losing sight of the present, and consider the future in terms of your own hopes.

Fifty Years in Seattle
I have spent fifty years practicing psychotherapy in the Seattle area. For 33 of those years, I also served as a CEO while remaining clinically active. I led Transitional Resources from 1986 to 1998 and Navos from 1999 to 2020.
I also taught in Seattle University’s graduate Masters in Counseling program. That history is part of what I bring to the room, but our conversations begin with your experience and the questions you want to address.
Two Offices and Three Therapy Formats
We can meet in person at either Seattle office. Individual therapy offers room for your own experience; couples therapy focuses on the relationship; family sessions bring people together to work on conflict and changing roles. My practice focuses on adults, and family sessions are for adult family members.
